Don't worry... you will get a Mac app security warning but I've posted screenshots below of how to continue, it's just because we're not using the App store yet!
A year ago I blogged about how I wanted a drumkit because I've always felt more comfortable playing guitar and keyboards and just wanted to have a go at something new.
This year I bought one of those tabletop drum toys - an Alesis CompactKit7 - please don't judge me! It sits in my office and I tinker on it while I wait for software to build.
I often play along to a click when recording guitars so my internal clock needs working on, so I want to get to the point where I no longer have to rely on that as a crutch.
So I made an app!
To help me see progress and understand where I need to concentrate my practicing, I built a small desktop app to measure my accuracy and consistency.
I'm really interested in finding out what sort of daily practice regimes proper drummers do, and what sort of measurements they'd like to see. If this sounds interesting, get the app and let me know what you want!
